On the occasion of Ramadan, the board of the Mardin Midyat Zahuranlılar Social Solidarity and Culture Association (MİZADER) carried out an aid parcel distribution on 9 May 2020. The association’s Founding Secretary General, Süleyman Doğan, took part in the distribution together with the board.
The distribution was aimed at families in need living in the areas of Istanbul where the association’s members reside. The prepared parcels were loaded onto vehicles in front of the association’s building and delivered to the families.
Social solidarity is among MİZADER’s founding goals. With this initiative, which brought the Ramadan spirit of sharing and solidarity to families in need, the association aimed to strengthen solidarity among its fellow townspeople.
