The first-ever “The Best of 2020” award night of the Türkiye Crystal Globe Awards was held in Istanbul on 30 January 2021.
The winners were determined by public vote. Many distinguished names and institutions from a wide range of fields—from business to the arts, from the press to media organisations—were recognised for their achievements.
Süleyman Doğan and his team, who brought the first edition of the event to life, presented the awards to their recipients during the night. The award of Bağcılar Municipality, honoured for its Nostalgia Gardens project, was presented to Mayor Lokman Çağırıcı at the municipality on 11 February 2021.
The Türkiye Crystal Globe Awards aim to make visible and appreciate the efforts of people and institutions who make a difference in their fields. The tradition continued with “The Best of 2021”, held on 15 January 2022.
